On July 29th, we wrapped up our first tour, checked in to our Apartment in Colombo (On three 20) got ready and excitedly headed to Hendela to A. Charmaine's house to meet my grandfathers family.
We literally arrived with a bang! When our van pulled up, we couldn't believe all the fuss. The house was beautifully decorated with colorful lights, there was a DJ blasting music, and my uncle was lighting firecrackers as we got out of the van. We were overwhelmed with such a grand entrance! It was an evening of meeting family for the first time, amazing food with lots of fun and dancing.
Thank you to all the family who took time out of there busy week to come meet us. A very special THANK YOU to A. Charmaine, Uncle Ranjit and Thilinika for opening their beautiful home to us and hosting a spectacular evening of family fun. We love you all.
