July 30th, we spent running around Colombo city, and in the evening we went to Ramzi's family's home for his cousin Sheha's Mhendi ( a pre-wedding party). The house was decorated, and food was ordered in for the celebration. Ladies arrived wearing colorful sari's, her in-laws to-be carried in gifts of clothes and food.
That night, Ramzi was meeting up with his school friends at the OBU of St. Peter's, so he wasn't able to attend. However, myself, my mom and the boys got to experience our first mehndi party and we enjoyed it very much.
