How can you thank someone who opens up their home so graciously for you and your friends? There are no words to express how grateful we are to this beautiful family...The Kodituwakku's (A. Ashanti, U. Bandu, Harsha, Natalie and family). Thanks so much for your hospitality and generosity!
Ramzi was able to invite his friends over for dinner, so that we all could enjoy a much needed reunion. Asia Capital co-workers that became friends joined us, and they shared stories of good times.
Even though Ramzi went to St. Peter's, he managed to find "brothers" in some DS boys! Thank you to all who came, it was a great evening for us. Ramzi's family was there as well, and so were the Kodituwakku's and Samarasinghe's.
I was so happy to meet everyone, and hear all their stories. We drank, ate and laughed all night. This evening was truly one of the highlights of our trip....reuniting with friends that are like family is priceless!
(Our boys found this song on you tube before we left and memorized it. It is sung in Sinhalese, Tamil and English. Just like this night of friendship, it is a beautiful reminder of how people of different religions and races can live together in peace.)
