We had to say goodbye to the warm waters and colorful ocean life of Trinco,but thankfully we would stay a while longer on the fabulous east coast. Heading to Passikudah was one of our shorter drives, We stopped to take in the beauty of the second largest natural harbor in the world...Trincomalee Harbor! We went inside Fort Fredricks, which was built by the Portuguese in 1624, then later rebuilt by the Dutch. We had lunch at a quaint little Dutch restaurant and indulged in some fusion flavors of the island.
